Refund Policy

Introduction The Vishw Kurmi Foundation (“VKF”) values the trust and contributions of its participants and donors. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be requested and processed for event registrations, donations, and other contributions.

1. Event Registration Refunds

1.1 Eligibility for Refunds:

  • Refund requests will be considered if made at least 7 days before the event date.

  • No refunds will be issued for requests made less than 7 days before the event.

1.2 Processing of Refunds:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

1.3 Non-Refundable Fees:

  • Registration fees for events specifically marked as non-refundable are not eligible for refunds.

  • Any processing or transaction fees incurred during payment are non-refundable.

2. Donations

2.1 General Policy:

  • Donations made to VKF are considered final and are non-refundable.

  • Refunds may be considered in exceptional cases, such as accidental duplicate payments.

2.2 Request for Donation Refunds:

  • Requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the donation date.

  • VKF reserves the right to approve or deny such requests at its sole discretion.

2.3 Processing of Refunds:

  • Approved donation refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

3. Cancellations by VKF

3.1 If VKF cancels an event due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be eligible for a full refund of the registration fee. 3.2 Donations made for specific events or initiatives will be reallocated to other programs unless a refund is requested.

4. How to Request a Refund

  • Full name and contact details.

  • Proof of payment (receipt or transaction ID).

  • Reason for the refund request.

4.3 Review Process:

  • VKF will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

  • Applicants will be notified of the outcome within 10 business days.

5. Changes to This Policy VKF reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated through official channels and will apply to all future transactions.
